Our goal has always been to create a world-class collection of antique rugs and textiles with investment quality. And we are proud to share it with fellow dealers, collectors and rug enthusiasts.
We have a large collection of collectible and decorative antique rugs and textiles, consisting of carefully chosen Anatolian, Caucasian, Persian, Turcoman, Chinese, European and Indian pieces of high quality. Most of these rugs are in very good original condition with natural dyes. We are very conscious of quality, condition and aesthetic when acquiring antique rugs. Only very few of the pieces we come across make their way into our gallery which is based in the historic peninsula of Istanbul, only a couple of hundred yards from the famous Blue Mosque, Saint Sofia and The Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum. My personal passion and interest in Antique Caucasian Rugs resulted in one of the largest collection of antique Caucasian rugs in the world with new acquisitions that will be uploaded to this website on a weekly basis.
We are highly active in sourcing antique rugs and carpets. Our collection is one of the most dynamic in trade with constant fresh arrivals purchased through European and US estate sales, acquisitions of entire private collections, house clearances, trade-in, extensive travelling and a vast network of long term contacts in the antique rug world.
You never know what you might find here, it can be a fantastic large Persian Serapi or Bakhsaish, an early 19th Century Turkoman Chuval or main carpet, a rare and early Anatolian village rug from 18th century or a top-of-the-class Caucasian Pinwheel Kazak in excellent condition..
