The field is made of natural un-dyed wool and the border is made of naturally dyed green wool. These simple and somewhat Primitive small rugs with lustrous wool pile were produced for daily use by nomads and villagers in Konya region of Central Anatolia until 1970s. Today these decorative rugs with Minimalist appeal are also considered collectible as each one is one of a kind and representing a diminishing form of textile and tribal art.
