Antique Turkish Bergama Rug, circa 1920, One-of-a-kind Carpet, 100% Wool

An antique hand-knotted Turkish 'Bergama' rug from West Anatolia made in the 1920s with soft medium wool pile. It features a large central medallion in stone beige color against a vermilion red field. Stylized floral bouquets in vases decorate the space around the medallion. The rug also has corner pieces and a border that are brought together in the same stone beige color and a similar design of curving angular vines and floral heads.
It is in good condition, professionally cleaned and suitable for high foot traffic in both residential and commercial interiors.
