Bring the character and history of vintage Turkish kilims into your home with a one-of-a-kind handmade patchwork kilim rug.
Each kilim rug is handcrafted in our atelier in Central Anatolia, Turkey, using carefully selected vintage hand-woven Turkish and oriental kilims. Every piece is unique, with its own combination of colors, patterns and textures.
HOW OUR PATCHWORK KILIM RUGS ARE MADE We travel throughout Turkey to source authentic vintage kilims that are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Each kilim is professionally cleaned and carefully prepared before being cut into individual patches.
The patches are then arranged according to your preferred size, design and color combination. Once the layout is finalized, our skilled village artisans hand-stitch each piece together. A durable cotton twill backing is added to the reverse side for extra stability, thickness and a smooth finish.
By combining vintage Turkish kilims with contemporary design, we give these beautiful old textiles a new life as unique modern floor coverings.
