A beautiful hand-knotted Turkish Oushak rug from the 1960s featuring an elegant central medallion on a burgundy red field as well as lush arabesque corner pieces and borders in beige and greenish gray, decorated with palmettes and scrolling leafy vines. The rug has distressed low wool pile on cotton foundation. It is in good condition, professionally washed and sturdy. A wonderful piece with classical elegance.
