Vintage Sun Faded Oriental Rug in Soft Colors, Wool Handmade Carpet

This vintage Central Anatolian rug features two linked medallions in soft tan and gold colors and cross-shaped motifs inside against a plain field in soft muted red. The corner-pieces in charcoal gray are decorated with large, elongated palmettes. The main border is densely filled with colorful geometric star motifs in red, pink, blue, mauve, khaki and tan colors.
The rug is hand knotted with natural sheep's wool, has soft medium pile, in good condition and sturdy. Its soft and warm color palette has a vibrancy to it that could be a great complementary piece for a variety of different interiors.
