Vintage Handmade Banded Kilim Made of Goat Hair & Wool. Flatweave Rug, Reversible

An authentic vintage handmade flat-weave (Kilim) from Eastern Turkey, handwoven by Nomads to be used as floor coverings in their tents and winter homes. Today these kilims are very popular for their contemporary simple designs and practicality. We have travelled extensively across Turkey in the last 20 years and carefully picked these sturdy and aesthetically beautiful kilims, as well as pile rugs and other authentic handmade works of textile, tribal and Folk Art which are getting harder to find especially in good condition. We also hand-stitch vintage flat-woven Kilim rugs together in our workshop to create room size and custom size floor coverings that are practical, very decorative and suitable for both contemporary residential and commercial interiors.
