One-of-a-kind Vintage Turkish Village Rug. Floral Border. Red, Beige and Blue Colors

A vintage hand knotted Turkish area rug featuring a large medallion design in ivory at the centre of a key-hole shaped red field. The corner pieces are in ivory and blue and adorned with florals and large swirling leaves. There are navy and red polka dots lining the inside of the borders of both the medallion and the corner pieces. The main borders are decorated with horizontal flowers with leafy stems in red, purple, green, blue and pink against an ivory background.
This hand knotted area rug has low wool pile on cotton foundation, sturdy and in good condition. Its vibrant color palette and quirky design have a joyful feel to it and would make it a great complementary piece for contemporary, modern, boho-chic and eclectic interiors.
