Vintage Handmade Turkish Village Rug, Soft Red, Mustard Yellow, Green, Gray

This vintage Central Anatolian rug features two linked medallions in deep-saturated gold with cross-shaped motifs inside against a plain field in soft muted soft red. The corner-pieces in charcoal gray are decorated with large, elongated palmettes. The main border is densely filled with colorful geometric star motifs in red, pink, dark and light blue and white.
The rug is hand knotted with natural sheep's wool, has soft medium pile, in good condition and sturdy. Its soft and warm color palette has a vibrancy to it that could be a great complementary piece for a variety of different interiors.
