Vintage Hand-Knotted Caucasian Kazak Rug, 100% Wool

This vintage Turkish rug features two linked cross-shaped medallions in soft madder red and beige against a deep, dark indigo field adorned with free floating quatrefoil motifs. The main border that is filled with abstract floral heads in moss green, tan, dark indigo and madder red is bordered with a merry looking outer guard strip in cerulean blue with dainty geometric shapes.
The rug is hand knotted with sheep's wool. It has soft medium pile, in good condition and sturdy. It has an aesthetic versatile enough that would complement classical, modern and Mid-Century Modern interiors.
