A finely hand-knotted rug from Ladik region in Central Anatolia that has been a famous rug making centre, until late 1970s. This beautiful example with a traditional medallion design is well drawn and in excellent original condition. Unusual color palette with soft green, blue and cream. Soft even medium wool pile on strong cotton foundation.
