A vintage hand-knotted "Tulu" (Turkish word for "thick piled") Rug from Central Anatolia. These charming small rugs with simple designs and lustrous wool pile were produced for daily use by villagers and nomads until early 1970s. Today these decorative rugs are also considered collectible as each one is one of a kind and representing a diminishing form of textile and tribal art.
