These authentic flat-weaves (Kilims) from Central Turkey were handwoven by Nomads to be used as floor coverings in their tents and winter homes. They were made to use for everyday life rather than re-sale and export purposes and today they are very popular in interior design world for their simple designs and affordable prices. We have travelled extensively across Turkey in the last 25 years and carefully picked the sturdy and aesthetically beautiful Kilims, pile rugs and other authentic handmade works of textile, tribal and Folk Art which are getting harder and harder to find especially in good condition.

We now also hand-stitch these old flat-woven Kilim rugs to each other in our workshop and create room size or custom size floor coverings that are practical, very decorative and suitable for both residential and commercial interiors.
