A handmade vintage 'Tulu' (Turkish word for 'thick piled') rug from Konya in Central Turkey. The rug is made of 100% natural wool, therefor it is very soft and comfortable. These Minimalist rugs with lustrous wool pile were produced for daily use by nomads and villagers in Konya region of Central Anatolia until 1970s.

Today they are considered collectible and highly decorative as each one is one-of-a-kind and representative of a diminishing form of textile and tribal art.
