One of a kind Vintage Handmade Turkish Area Rug in Beige, Orange and Brown Colors, 100% Wool

A vintage Turkish tribal rug with a unique, whimsical design of bold geometric motifs in soft earthy colors of cream, rust orange and brown. The field is divided into three areas, each of which is decorated with its own distinct diamond shapes and symbols including evil eyes, hair bands and crosses. The creative expressiveness and ingenuity of this lovely rug lies in its clever juxtaposition of same shapes and colors in completely different reinterpretations and the symmetrical arrangement of each reinterpretation in its own area, capturing the viewer’s eye and creating a sense of wonder and playfulness.

The rug was handmade with wool on wool foundation, with some slight wear of the pile in places. It is in good condition and professionally cleaned.
