A hand knotted 1960s Turkish rug with a French Aubusson design in neutral colors.

The brown outlines of rosettes as well as the meandering brown lines running through angular leaves all across the outer border are emphasized against a more softer silhouette of these motifs and create a stimulating contrast with the muted palette of the rug.
