Vintage Handmade Turkish Oushak Area Rug

A finely hand-knotted vintage Turkish carpet from the 1960s featuring an elegant medallion design against a field filled with intricate quatrefoil motifs, elegant curvilinear corner pieces, individual tear-drop shaped motifs jutting out into the field from the inner edges and a five-layered border decorated with stylized floral heads and angular leafy vines all in a subtle color palette of stone beige, ivory and brown. 

The rug has even low wool pile on cotton foundation. It is heavy and lays flat on the floor, is in very good condition with no issues, professionally cleaned, sturdy and can be used in both residential or commercial interiors. Size: 7 x 10.4 ft.
