This vintage Turkish area rug features a large medallion design in soft olive green decorated with simpler, more geometric renditions of floral and star motifs that encircle two smaller, nested medallions at the centre in magenta and teal. The rest of the field is made up of a lozenge-shaped open space in faded pinkish red and checkered corner pieces in fuchsia and brown. The color palette is muted and gives off an antiquated look.

This hand knotted rug has a coarse weave with low sheep's wool pile. It is sturdy, in good condition and suitable for high traffic areas.
